What is a personal assistant?

A personal assistant is an individual employed by a personal assistance service provider who offers help and support to a person with a disability in daily activities that the person cannot perform independently. This is done while respecting the user's instructions on how the assistance and support should be provided, ensuring a higher quality of service.

Based on our team's 20 years of experience, we know that the best and highest quality personal assistance occurs when the user personally finds their assistant, and we employ them as the service provider.

If the user does not have anyone in mind to be their personal assistant, we mediate the search for candidates and help with the selection process.

Depending on the type of disability, we know which services are most needed. However, ultimately, the choice of personal assistant is made by the user.

The personal assistance service can be a nice, creative, and interesting occupation.
